Now as we have understood, what each device offers, let’s see which one to choose among them.

When we buy a smartphone there are certain things we expect and let’s go one by one now.

Performance:

Oneplus 8, Oneplus 8 Pro, and Mi 10 are all powered by the same latest and greatest flagship processor, Snapdragon 865. Fact to be spoken that there is no better processor in the market for smartphones than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 in the market and it absolutely crushes every challenge you throw at it.

When it comes to RAM, Oneplus 8 Pro and Mi 10 are fitted with LPDDR5 RAM technology, which is the latest generation and offers significant performance improvements. But, Oneplus’s vanilla variant Oneplus 8 comes with LPDDR4X technology which is the last generation technology.

While Oneplus siblings offer up to 12Gigs of RAM, Mi 10 is offered with only one variant with 8 Gigs of RAM

In the storage department, all three smartphones come with the latest and fastest storage iteration, UFS3.0, and offer up to 256GB of storage. None of them offers extra storage options such as a micro-sd card slot.

You get almost similar performance in all the three devices.

Display:

Display is what we spend our most time and provides that visual experience. So, everybody expects a stunning visual experience.

Among the three, no doubt that Oneplus 8 Pro offers the best visual experience on any smartphone period. Even if you pay double the price of Oneplus 8 pro and buy Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, you can’t get a better display than that.

Oneplus 8 Pro offers probably the best display on any smartphone.

Camera:

Even though Mi 10 and Oneplus 8 Pro have different camera setups, both offer similar levels of camera performance in almost all conditions. Oneplus 8 lags behind both of them in the camera department.

Oneplus 8 camera is no match to Mi 10 and Oneplus 8 Pro.

Battery:Realme X50 Pro vs Oneplus 8 – Comparison

Oneplus 8 comes with 4300mah battery with 30W fast charging and doesn’t offer wireless charging capability.

Oneplus 8 Pro comes with a slightly bigger battery at 4510mah and offers 30W fast charging capabilities in both wired and wireless standards.

Wheres as Mi 10 comes with the largest battery pack of 4780mah battery with 30W wired fast charging and 30W wireless fast charging as well. Because it has a lower refresh rate and lower resolution than the Oneplus 8 Pro it would offer superior screen on time when compared to both Oneplus 8 and Oneplus 8 Pro.

Mi 10 offers the best battery life among all the three.

OS & Updates:

Oneplus 8 and Oneplus 8 Pro comes with smooth and reading fast Oxygen OS. It is a treat to use Oxygen OS with those higher refresh rate displays and stunning Super AMOLEDs. Mi 10 comes with MIUI and it offers tons of customization and looks beautiful as well.

All the three devices get regular OS updates and complaints there.

MIUI or Oxygen OS is personal choice.

Price:

Mi 10 @Rs.49,999 has been positioned right between Oneplus 8 @Rs.44,999 and Oneplus 8 Pro @Rs.54,999.

Verdict:

All of them offer similar performance, same great sound, and almost the same feature set across the spectrum and differs only on Camera and Display. Let’s go ahead and see what to pick based on your preferences.

If you want the best of everything (Display & Camera) and budget is not a restriction, go ahead and pick Oneplus 8 Pro.

If you want the best camera, but you can’t spend more than Rs.50,000, Mi 10 is your choice.

If you want the smartphone with long battery life, Mi 10 is your choice.

If you have budget less than Rs.45,000, don’t settle yourself for Oneplus 8, get yourself Realme X50 Pro and save yourself Rs.5000.
